Strategic priorities
Bramble Bio is the cell and gene therapy CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation) brand of the FamiCord Group, headquartered in Warsaw with two GMP-certified ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product) production facilities and a network of 15 laboratories across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The company rebranded from FamiCord Cell and Gene Manufacturing to Bramble Bio in January 2025, and the parent FamiCord AG rebrand from Vita 34 AG was completed on 6 February 2025.
The CDMO market for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products is forecast to grow from USD 8.7 billion in 2024 to over USD 76 billion by 2030. Bramble's stated 5-7 year goals align with that growth: 100% digital lab readiness by 2030, end-to-end visibility of the cryo-supply chain, full integration of recent acquisitions (nOvum in September 2025, majority stakes in Czech and Slovak banks in May 2025) into one operational framework by 2026, and a Net-Zero roadmap.
Revenue guidance for the FamiCord Group reached EUR 85-95 million in 2025 with an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation) margin around 11 percent, and a forecast of EUR 12 million EBITDA in 2026. The new-build cost pressure on cryopreservation - operating at approximately -196 degrees Celsius across more than 1,000,000 stored samples - and the ATMP market's own scaling curve are what the digital work is meant to absorb.
The shared underlying capability across all four pillars is the same: process, sample, lot and shipment data that can be read across sites, across regulatory scopes and across the technologies acquired through M&A (mergers and acquisitions), without being rebuilt every time a new line, lab or country comes online.

The FamiCord Group has acquired nOvum (September 2025), majority stakes in Czech and Slovak stem cell banks (May 2025), and rolled out placenta banking across Switzerland, Poland, Romania, the GCC and Italy in 2024. The 15 laboratories carry separate IT systems and operational protocols.
Where each acquired site ships data in its own structure, the work of building a unified view is repeated at every new report, model or audit. Carrying an agreed ontology for sample, lot, instrument and assay moves that work upstream into the data layer.

Predicting batch outcomes before physical manufacturing
Starting materials for ATMPs are derived from living human cells, which are inherently variable. Bramble Bio runs 16 production suites in Warsaw and operates an analytical centre of excellence in Cantanhede, Portugal, with 723+ patients dosed and 1,000,000+ samples stored across the network.
When each batch carries the variability of its donor, the relevant question becomes what signals correlate with a good outcome, and where they can be observed in the data a process already produces. Capturing those signals at process time lets deviations be modelled against the running batch.

Where the chain of custody relies on handoff logs that are reconciled after the fact, a deviation is found by reconstruction rather than observation. Each handoff producing its own timestamped, temperature-attested record shortens that window from days to minutes.

Producing compliance evidence across EMA and FDA scopes
Bramble Bio operates in the ATMP space with international expansion, including dual GMP-certified facilities, and faces EMA (European Medicines Agency) and FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) divergence including the Qualified Person role. The parent group is also committed to a 2030 Net-Zero Roadmap requiring site-level energy reporting.
When the same change has to be evidenced against two regulatory frameworks and a sustainability programme at once, the bottleneck tends to be the documentation layer. - Bramble Bio's CDMO work is anchored on bioreactors and cell-processing skids inside the 16 Warsaw production suites, which is where QB Modules and QB Control are built to operate - capturing process data and standardising control at the benchtop scale where cell-therapy process development lives before it is taken to a client pilot.
- The retrofit deployment fits the established equipment base inside the existing suites: the bioreactors, incubators and analytical instruments currently shipped with proprietary controllers can be wrapped in a vendor-neutral control and sensor layer rather than replaced, which matches the MTP and OPC UA direction already named in the platform's digital work.
- Automated sampling on the upstream bioreactors and filtration at downstream processing are the named qbFit application points that sit alongside the cell-manipulation work the CDMO is built around.
